I love the Wobbly Windows in Compiz. I know a lot of people don’t. Anyway- the big thing that annoyed me was the snapping to an edge. If I have a normal window and try to drag it, the window does a kind of stretch from the edge until it finally snaps off. I think this effect isn’t for me.
Happily, I found the setting in CompizConfig Settings: Effects > Wobbly Windows, and uncheck ‘Snap Inverted’.
