I bought Quickbooks Pro 2004 a couple weeks back. That’s right. A Windows program. It was after many months of working with GNUCash. GNUCash has tons of potential, but it was just too difficult to use. I was spending more time managing the meager finances than working, which is obviously flawed. It pained me a great deal and I nearly bought the Mac version. But the fact is that if anything happened to the Mac (a browser compatibility testing station), I would have to go out and buy a whole new system to do finances. Anyway, CrossOver is working on Quickbooks, so maybe I won’t have to be working in Windows for long…
